Undefeated Queanbeyan Juniors Take Home the Trophy

What a season for junior golf — nine teams in the Encourage Shield (Junior Division) our biggest and strongest field yet. Amazing to see so many clubs backing their juniors and embracing Pennant and matchplay.

Today’s final at Murrumbidgee Country Club had perfect weather, excellent course conditions and a great atmosphere.

Queanbeyan, who dominated all season, finished the job with a 5.5-0.5 win over Yowani to remain undefeated and lift the trophy.

Huge congratulations to every junior who played this 2026 Pennant season, and to the Queanbeyan Golf Club leadership for building such a powerful and positive junior program
